Disappointed by Unresolved Work and Lack of Follow-Up
I hired 614 Exteriors to replace fascia board, replace the roof, and install new gutters on a duplex that I own but do not live in.
When I inspected the completed work, I found that in two separate areas the gutters were not properly sloped toward the downspouts, causing a significant amount of water to remain standing in the gutters. I notified 614 Exteriors of the problem, and they told me they would send someone out to correct it.
After more than two months and several follow-ups, I was finally notified that the gutter repairs had been completed. When I inspected the work, however, I discovered that only one of the two problem areas had been addressed. The other area still has the original issue.
Since then, I have attempted to contact 614 Exteriors by text, email, and phone to have the remaining issue corrected, but I have not received a response.
There were other issues with timing, coordination, and workmanship during the project, but we were able to work through those. What is most disappointing is that I have given 614 Exteriors multiple opportunities to address this remaining problem, and they are no longer responding.
I expected the company to stand behind its work and correct the problem. Unfortunately, based on my experience to date, that has not happened.
