Do NOT recommend this swim company
I would not recommend Charleston Swim School based on our experience.
Between my two children, we spent nearly $700 on lessons this summer and saw little to no progress. The biggest issue was the complete lack of consistency. We were assigned different instructors throughout the program, which made it nearly impossible for my children to build confidence or make meaningful progress.
On top of that, there were multiple weather cancellations. While I understand thunderstorms happen and safety comes first, the makeup policy is extremely inconvenient. Makeup lessons can only be booked one week in advance, making it difficult for working parents and families with busy schedules, especially as the school year begins.
After months of lessons, instructor changes, cancellations, and scheduling challenges, I have no confidence that continuing to spend more money with Charleston Swim School would lead to a different outcome. I raised my concerns directly with the company before leaving this review, but I did not feel that my concerns were meaningfully addressed.
For the amount of money we invested, I expected a much more consistent program and better communication. Unfortunately, that was not our experience, and I cannot recommend this swim school to other families.
