Been with Mercari since 2018 but not after today Charged overage for a package that weighed 3 lbs. due to dimensions, I was charged for 40lbs of weight and am now in the negative. If this is such an issue why doesn’t Mercari create dimensional weight to be necessary before posting a listing to avoid this? Also why not just return the package to the sender instead of causing its sellers to acquire astronomical fees due to dimensions ? I’ve been selling with them since 2018 and am not in the least bit pleased with this policy. I have never experienced this in my time selling on here and it feels so scammy to currently be dealing with this with no type of care or resolve from customer support. I do not recommend selling on this platform, bunch of thieves trying to make money off of innocent sellers by up charging them.
