I have been training at BMJJA for about 2 years with prof Doa. It can be intimidating attending something new, especially a contact martial art for the first time, (it was for me), but Doa and all the students are very friendly and welcoming. It’s great cardio, fun and really helps breaking up the working week with something to look forward to after work. Over time you’ll quickly learn new skills and progress as you pick up different aspects of the sport. There’s always something new to learn in bjj which keeps it interesting. It’s always great when new people join, see you on the mats!
