Wonderful new roof, but beware if salesman offers a “finders fee” Had my roof checked by SlateStone construction while they were out replacing our neighbor’s roof. The gentleman was very helpful and did all the paperwork with out insurance comp lay. He told us that if we had any neighbors that needed their roofs replaced and we got our neighbor to go with his company, we would get a “finders fee”. We got two neighbors to go with this company, not for the money, but because we live in a community that looks out for one another. I am not writing this because we did not get a “finders fee” but to warn others not to trust all that is told to you.
