Honest service and impressive results The work was slightly delayed because of an issue with the glazing delivery, but Victoria kept us updated throughout, which we really appreciated. The installation happened during one of the coldest days of the year — I honestly felt for the guys working in that wind. Fair play to them, they just got on with it. And I have to say, we could feel the difference almost straight away once the sashes with the new glazing were back in. The house felt warmer instantly. The finish is good — not “brand new window” perfect, but that’s not what we were expecting anyway. It’s more like a really well-done refurbishment, and the windows still keep their original character, just much better performing. What really sets SJ apart, in my opinion, is the value of the service. From the research I did before committing, they seem to install some of the best-performing glazing available. The installation itself is relatively quick, but be prepared for an early start. If we were doing it again, I’d probably plan it further in advance — but I’d definitely go with the same company
