Effective Treatment of Facet Syndrome I waited until four months post op to write my review so I could be sure I’m getting the full benefit of Dr. Mork’s treatment. Dr. Mork performed facet debridement on several levels of my thoracic spine. Now that the swelling has gone down I feel a great deal of pain relief. I no longer feel like I have a knife constantly sticking me in the back where the facets are located. I am not 100% pain-free; I expected that given his previous results, which he is very honest about. I do have times when I am pain-free, and expect to get better as I continue to learn my limits post surgery. I really appreciated the attention to detail pre-, during and post op. The nurses and all staff were great and tried their best to make the experience as stress-free as possible. I’m seriously considering going back for the same issue in my C-spine. I don’t think I would trust anybody else to do this surgery. Dr. Mork invented it and is the best at it. I definitely encourage anyone with facet syndrome to contact his office if you are considering surgery. I have had both injections and facet ablation previously, and none of them provided the long lasting relief of this surgery. I think it is a very good alternative to the currently available treatments. Hopefully more doctors will start performing this kind of treatment but until then Dr. Mork is your best bet. Given the desperate need for better treatments for facet syndrome, he is performing a very valuable service here and I hope it continues to be available to those that need it.
