Will not recommend if you want a smooth sailing job
My experience with Dixons Recruitment, particularly through my recruiter Sharon, was extremely disappointing. From the very beginning of my temporary assignment, there were continuous issues—every single payslip was incorrect. We were taxed incorrectly, then asked to return the overpaid amounts, creating confusion and financial stress. This wasn't just my experience; many of the other temporary staff felt anxious and overwhelmed by the ongoing payroll mistakes.
Sharon, who was my point of contact, initially came across as attentive—frequently calling and emailing to ask how things were going. At first, I told her everything seemed fine. But as the issues worsened, I eventually decided to leave the role and be honest about my experience. Unfortunately, once I shared the truth, her attitude changed completely. She never responded to my messages or calls after that, despite previously claiming she wanted honest feedback to "make sure I was okay." Her promises of support turned out to be empty.
I was left feeling completely dismissed and unsupported. Even after escalating the issue to the customer relations manager, I was told I’d receive a follow-up call—but after five months and two assurances, I still haven't heard anything. The entire experience has been disheartening and infuriating.
What’s especially frustrating is that the company I worked for through the agency gave me glowing feedback and had several roles that matched my skills perfectly. I worked hard, did my job well, and maintained professionalism—only to be let down by the recruitment agency. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Dixons Recruitment. They made repeated errors, gave false assurances, and ultimately ignored me when I needed support the most.
