Avoid at all cost
I hired this trader in November 2025 to repair a washing machine. I paid £70 cash upfront for the labour. The repair was never completed.
After the initial visit, I was given weeks of excuses regarding 'delayed parts' and broken appointments. When I eventually cancelled the job due to the delays, James agreed in writing to provide a refund. He has repeatedly failed to pay this back, claiming that his business 'does not have internet banking' and can only return cash, yet he never shows up to drop it off.
I am now effectively out of pocket for the service and the time wasted. I have been left with no choice but to report this to Trading Standards and file a claim in the Small Claims Court to recover my money.
Looking at previous reviews, it appears I am not the only customer who has had this experience. I strongly urge you to avoid this company and definitely do not pay cash upfront.
