No support after possible data breach
Booked through Booking.com, then got a scam message on WhatsApp from a Pakistani number that included my personal and trip details plus a phishing link. I didn’t click it, but it’s worrying that someone had access to that information.
I reported it immediately, but after two weeks I still got no real response—just unanswered emails and repeated promises of a callback that never happened.
The most disappointing part is being told they are “just a third party” and that responsibility is elsewhere. This will be my last booking with Booking.com.
