Favoring clients and made me pay for other clients consequences. Don’t recommend!
Was referred by psychiatrist Linda Akudo to seek therapy with Meghan and they can share my progress with my psychiatrist. I thought good idea! Meghan told me she has a 11:00AM appointment available on 09/05/24. I agreed to it. On 09/05 the day of my appointment I get a text 2 hours before the appointment saying her client isn’t reinstating her appointment and had to cancel the 11:00AM appointment with me. Sounds like her other client cancelled their 11:00AM appointment and then I got the slot. But the client wants her 11:00AM back. I don’t understand how that is fair to me when Meghan and I agreed to this time. The right thing that should have been done by Meghan is tell the other client “unfortunately your cancelled appointment has already been filled and we can reschedule another day”. But nope I’m the one that had to deal with the consequences due to other client being difficult and indecisive. I don’t recommend this therapist if that’s where her morals are and favoring other clients. I will be sharing this feedback with Linda Akudo she needs to find a new partnership for her clients.
