Mt Helena Aurora & Lake Ballard 2025 This was our first trip with Red Track Tours. It was much more than we expected ( in a good way!) David is definitely at home in the outback and we felt very confident that we were in good hands. You can see a lot of planning goes into his tours. We were off grid and we both said we would never have done this trip on our own. For us it was a chance to use and get to know our camper without feeling out of our depths. What made the trip was the company we had for the journey and our nightly campfire chats and of course the places we went to. Would we recommend this to others? Absolutely. This is the first but definitely not the last trip. We want to do them all! If you’re thinking about doing one don’t hesitate. David is very experienced, very knowledgeable tour leader, we did lots of exploring climbing rocks, swimming in dams, walking salt lakes at the same time making sure that we all do it safely.
