Good shop, great work!
I liked the quick turnaround@! I shipped out my phone, two days there, one day to fix, and two days back. I had my phone back from having a cracked almost useless display with a working touch layer, to a working phone in better condition. The tech was helpful and responsive to any questions or concerns I had via email. Most replies were within minutes. I think the longest was maybe 25 minutes?
The repair itself was decent. As I chose the premium glass and not the more expensive OEM Gorilla Glass, they made sure I understood it wouldn't be as durable and that it had no guarantee of waterproofness after the repair, which I think is fair. the frame(Rose Gold) and back glass(White) were different from the colour I ordered(Graphite), but the colour wasn't an issue for me. I had paid for the option to use my back glass with the mild damaged it had(a few scratches)IF possible. I'm guessing it was damaged in the removal process as sometimes happens, and so they used the next best thing that was available. I now have a rose gold frame and a white back glass, which I honestly don't mind at all. The frame does have a small cosmetic mar(slight scuffing) to the finish, but I think that was unnoticed due to the sticker that was over it when I got it back.
Overall, I have a working phone back, and it's perfectly useable and will work for me for at least another year or so. Thank you so much for your service. You saved me from a very expensive replacement. The $300 sticker tag is a bit large, but it's also a LOT cheaper than outright replacing my phone. I was more than happy to pay that cost to get a working phone in the end.
Could I have done it myself for cheaper? Potentially, as I have done several phone screens prior to this. However I do not have enough experience or the tools to handle waterfall screens. So I sent it to this wonderful service, and they fixed it for me! And the cost is well worth it in my opinion. It's also fairly cheap compared to every other service I checked by about $50-$100.
Again, thank you for the wonderful fix. I am well satisfied in it.
