My funds were taken, my order was canceled
JM Bullion took my ACH payment for a $57k gold order, then canceled it without warning or giving me a chance to verify anything. After that, my money was tied up and I was given shifting explanations like “high-risk location” and ACH issues, none of which were clearly disclosed before checkout.
I had to spend days dealing with my bank in person just to get this resolved. That alone should never be necessary after a company accepts payment. The stress, time loss, and uncertainty were completely avoidable.
If ACH payments or large first-time orders are a problem, that should be stated clearly before someone sends tens of thousands of dollars — not after the fact. Poor communication, inconsistent explanations, and zero regard for the customer experience.
This was one of the most stressful purchasing experiences I’ve had. Buyers should be very careful.
