Unethical
Agoda has engaged in unethical and misleading business practices. Upon arrival, the hotel informed us that Agoda frequently provides inaccurate booking details, and the room we reserved was not available as described.
In a separate instance, another Agoda listing falsely advertised a key amenity that was a determining factor in our decision to book. When we checked in, the hotel confirmed that the information on Agoda’s site was incorrect. Although the hotel approved a refund due to these misrepresentations, Agoda refused to honor it and retained the full payment, despite the fact that no stay took place.
