Avoid this company Avoid gogo Boiler – Feels Like a Scam! A few weeks ago, I contacted Gogo Boiler for a service appointment. They scheduled a technician for the next morning, which seemed great at first. However, from the very beginning, something felt off—they specifically asked in the shop if my partner would be home, even though I had already mentioned it would just be me and my baby. When the technician arrived, he spent about 30-40 minutes in my kitchen checking my boiler Then, he handed me a report stating that my boiler had valve issues. Instead of suggesting a simple valve replacement, he insisted that the entire system needed to be replaced for £500. But then, he quickly pivoted to recommending a brand new boiler, claiming mine was 10 years old and beyond repair. He offered two replacement options—one costing nearly £3,000 and another around £2,500. Something didn’t sit right, so I checked the original purchase receipt of the boiler. Turns out it was 7 years old not 10. This raised serious concerns, so my partner and I decided to get a second opinion from another professional. Here’s where it gets interesting: the second technician quickly identified that the boiler itself was completely fine—the real issue was low gas pressure. He called an emergency gas service, and they fixed the gas inflow. In the end, we only had to pay for the service call—nowhere near the thousands of pounds Gogo Boiler tried to push on us. To make matters worse, after gogo Boiler’s visit, they kept contacting me—not to discuss repairing the valve but to pressure me into financing a new boiler through them. They never mentioned the actual issue, only reinforcing their sales pitch. Adding insult to injury, I researched the boiler model they recommended—it was meant for a much larger property than my small two-bedroom flat. I strongly believe this company tries to scare customers into unnecessary, costly replacements instead of properly diagnosing issues. Their approach felt dishonest, and I would not trust them. I do NOT recommend Gogo Boiler. If you suspect boiler issues, get a second opinion before paying for any expensive replacements! If anyone needs the contact information for the honest professional who actually fixed my issue, I will leave a comment for him, have a look at in my reviews.
