defective contacts, service issues
Hello, On July 19th I ordered a 90 day supply of contacts these contacts from EZ contacts. these contacts come in 6 boxes or 30 contacts each. .The total cost for 6 boxes is 295,95. One of the boxes out of the 6 was defective. All the contacts in the box which was more beat up than the other 5 boxes were folded in half in their containers. When you unfolded them and put them in your eyes there was a bend/seam in them and they would pop out of your eye and were so uncomfortable they could not be worn. All the 30 contacts in the one box were defective. I reached out to EZ contact many times and was asked to provide pictures of the faulty box which I did. There was a lot of back and forth, eventually they offered me a store credit of 16.95. When I went on line to look at the price of a single box of 30 contacts it would cost me 64 dollars to replace one box plus shipping. I am not sure why they think that is a fair solution. I would like a new box sent to my house by them for free as it was their product that was defective and all the other 5 boxes of 30 contacts were in working order and function well. At the very least they should refund the cost of a box of 30 as that is what I am going to have to buy as now I have an uneven amount of contacts. I am on a budget and cannot afford to not have these contacts replaced for the amount they will cost me. The tone of their messages was not helpful or polite and they told me that they would only replace 10 contact which was worth 16.50 " but they would round it up to 16.95??? the whole box was defective. please help me.
