Great bike, great service!
I bought my Specialized Turbo Vado SL 4 back in March. I still ride a touring bike (not powered) but I wanted to enjoy the hills of Herefordshire without fear and also just to relax a little and not to worry that I would get too tired or go too far and not have fun! I had done a lot of research before I went to see Mike but he showed me the alternative bikes he had available so that I could be sure. I wanted a pannier rack and mudguards on my bike so Martin fitted those for me as Specialized didn't have the 'Equipped' bikes in stock. They very kindly fitted my own saddle and phone holder so that my two bikes were as near identical as possible. I LOVE my new e-Bike. It's a lightweight one, so even I can get it into the back of the car myself if I want to take it away with me! (I'm a woman, over 60 and a small build.) I've had some lovely hilly rides that I wouldn't have risked without a bit of battery power. My Garmin watch also confirms that I work really hard on my e-Bike, so depending on how you ride your e-Bike, you still get a really good work out and you will get fitter! This lightweight bike is perfect for me. I did a 40 mile hilly ride (3250ft ascent) and still had 40% of the battery left and I definitely didn't use the eco battery setting all the way!! OnBike is a great shop with a big selection of bikes on show and Mike and Martin are very helpful and knowledgeable. Great shop. Thanks guys.
