No Questions Allowed
To preface, I won't say that I am not partially at fault for what occurred between me and Eric Schobel, I believe he is their firm manager. I will never claim that I do not speak in an aggressive manner, and I type that way as well when I have documentation and evidence to back it up.
I had choice words with their billing department because they claimed they had charged me for phone calls that didn't happen, that I had no record of from 30 days ago. They charged me a finder's fee, for "finding" the other party to my litigation case when I openly told them in email and over the phone that I won't utilize their services until I get the other parties address. I provided my phone call logs and screen shots of their invoices to show that they had billed me incorrectly. This was where it went back apparently.
When I questioned their billing staff and told them that it looks a little like fraud, you know, being charged for services not rendered. They immediately took to the defensive and told me that I was aggressive and treating their staff with disrespect because I line by line went through their invoice and asked how they charged me for things that didn't happen or things that were provided for them before I even signed their contract. Eric, even had the audacity to say that I was "nit picking" their invoices for issues when I was being billed 60-120 dollars per line for .10 hours worth of work, where a lot of that work was either calling me or sending me an email.
Their billing person then forwarded my email to Eric Schobel who then canceled my contract with their firm, even though, in his own words, he knew nothing about my case, as he hadn't worked it and conveniently "couldn't find" the email or documents where I sent him my opposing parties address. He all of a sudden started saying "hello" like he couldn't hear me, gave me a send off, and hung up on me. That last bit of disrespect is the only reason I am spending the additional time to make this review.
