Shady dealings
I was booking a hotel for a 3 day vacation with kayak which connected me with traveluro. Everything went fine with making the reservation. I received normal receipt of dates etc. Went to hotel and everything was fine, unlike experiences others have described. I had a problem at the hotel, they placed me and my children in a room with a urine soaked mattress. We got through it and the hotel moved us to another room for the remainder of the stay, no biggie. The hotel offered to refund us a single night of the stay, which I appreciated. The problem came at checkout. I when I asked about the refunded night the hotel said I'd have to take that up with traveluro, the hotel would refund but I must contact traveluro to receive it. I did that and customer service said they'd pass my request off and I'd hear something within a day or two. I got an email confirmation regarding my request. A day or two later I received an email from traveluro customer service telling me they have a strict no refund policy and would not be giving me the money. So this company received a refund for MY inconvenience, kept it, and refused me. Do not do business with this company, I will never again.
