Given false information Things have gone from bad to worse with Wolf River electric. I started the process with them in August. They insisted I needed to get financing for them to access my garage. They told me there was absolutely no financial risk of the project didn't go through. After months of inconsistent/conflicting answers, they told me that they had major concerns about my garage. (Other solar companies have recommended a new roof but that my garage is structurally sound.) So I asked WR to cancel the project. Now I'm being told that I'm on the hook for closing costs of almost $1200. Sure, I'll take responsibility that I didn't see that I'm the contract but WR told me several times there was no financial risk of cancelling. Trying to work with customer service to resolve this situation has also been a nightmare. They are not taking responsibility for any of this. Will update if any sort of resolution is offered.
