My husband and I have been with Karl for many years now. He has helped not just us, but all our relationships with family and friends.
Karl brings in a pure curiosity about you that really helps you open up. I have been to a couple of other therapists before him and usually some personal bias seeped in which made me uncomfortable. Karl’s genuine non-judgemental outlook helped me talk about anything under the sun. Especially the things I was ashamed of. He is so very gentle in his understanding, and is ALWAYS kind to you even when you are not being kind to yourself. When I first met him, therapy for me was mainly problem solving but its has transcended now into a tool for wholistic living. It has become a way of understanding myself in connection to almost everything.
In his sessions I have always found my needles of pain in the haystack of life. No matter how old or forgotten they are found and worked on wonderfully. He has given and continues to give me tools to understand and handle situations and hold my emotions without any shame at every stage.
The bond between me and my husband has become so much stronger with these practices. Where earlier there was helplessness and issues, there are now possibilities and deep conversations with so much understanding of the other.
