We used Peaceful Transitions when it was time to say goodbye to our baby girl, Jenny, who was 17 years old. Jenny was so much more than a pet to us. She was part of our family and, in so many ways, she made our house a home. Saying goodbye to her was one of the hardest things we have ever had to do, but having Greg come to our home made an incredibly difficult experience feel a little more peaceful. From the moment he arrived, Greg was warm, compassionate, and incredibly calming. He took the time to explain the entire process to us and made sure we understood what was happening every step of the way. He treated Jenny with so much gentleness and respect, and he gave us the time and space we needed to say goodbye. One detail that has stayed with us was when it was time to take Jenny. Greg carefully placed her in a beautiful wicker basket and wrapped her in a soft blanket. It was such a simple gesture, but it meant so much to us. Even in that heartbreaking moment, she was treated with the same love and care that she had received throughout her life. We will always be grateful to Greg and Peaceful Transitions for helping us through one of the most painful days we have ever experienced. There is no easy way to say goodbye to a member of your family, but their compassion and professionalism made an unbearable moment feel a little more peaceful.
