Awful experience shopping with cernucci
Everyone seems to rave about Cernucci tracksuits, so I decided to give them a try. Unfortunately, my experience was really disappointing from the start. When my order arrived, not only did I not receive the tracksuit I had ordered, the tracksuit wasn’t even a proper matching set—the hoodie and joggers were different colours, and even the stitching in the “Cernucci” logo didn’t match.
I checked the return policy, which stated that items purchased as a set must be returned together, so I repackaged everything. While folding the joggers, I also noticed there was a rip in them, which made the situation even worse.
To return the faulty and mismatched items, I had to pay for the return myself. If I had been sent the correct set in the first place, this wouldn’t have been necessary.
The experience only got more frustrating from there. Cernucci received my return but didn’t contact me with any update. After waiting 12 days with no communication, I had to reach out to customer support myself. Only then was I told they couldn’t process an exchange because the item was out of stock. Instead, I was offered a refund or store credit.
I think it’s completely unacceptable that I had to chase them for an update on my own return. Other brands are far better at keeping customers informed throughout the process. If I hadn’t tracked my return and followed up, I’d have no idea what was happening.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend shopping with them. It doesn’t seem like they properly check their stock or manage customer communication well. On top of that, I ended up paying for both delivery and return shipping, which means I’ve lost money for nothing.
I was really excited to try Cernucci, but after this experience, I requested a full refund and won’t be shopping with them again. I’d suggest looking elsewhere if you want a smoother experience and better customer service.
