Doesn't easily do metric gears; hijacks other CAD files
I installed eMachine Shop to design some metric gears with a 15 modulus. For some reason it wouldn't let me directly input the modulus into the program--those fields were greyed out. Instead I had to input Imperial information repeatedly until it got "close" to the metric equivalent. I saved the file and my daughter uploaded it into a 3D printer, but the parts came out the wrong size...Grrrrr!!
MY BIGGEST GRIPE-- The eMachine software took over ALL my CAD files so I couldn't open them with regular CAD software. If I had known it would do this I wouldn't have downloaded it. This is an abuse of my personal property so I Uninstalled it.
