Insufficient hydration and support
Not enough water stations on both the bike and run courses made it very challenging to stay hydrated, especially in the heat. This was frustrating and impacted the overall experience, as hydration is critical in such events. The bike station placement was also inconvenient—on the wrong side of the road and uphill. Additionally, there weren’t enough marshals, which added to the disappointment. Having trained hard for my first event of this type, I expected better support, and this left me quite let down.
