Exceptional customer service - from Sunny QLD to Overcast Melbourne
I am located in Melbourne and spent the entire morning trying to find a technician to service my split system, which was having issues with the heating function. I submitted online enquiries to at least 12 different companies. Most promised a call within three minutes, yet hours later, I’m still waiting to hear back from some of them. Eventually, I received a text message from someone named Gary—though at the time, I wasn’t even sure which company he represented. What stood out immediately was his professionalism, friendliness, and quick responses. He was genuinely helpful and kind, and most importantly, he didn’t lead with a discussion about fees or call-out charges before asking what I actually needed help with. That alone was refreshing. I agreed to engage Gary for the job, only to find out he is based in Queensland (and I am in Melbourne). Despite the distance, Gary went above and beyond. He offered to continue supporting me remotely, suggested what I could say to a local technician about the issue, and provided advice—purely out of a desire to assist, not for payment. That is what I call exceptional customer service. Genuine care, integrity, and a willingness to help without focusing solely on profit. If I were a wealthy woman, I’d fly Gary down to Melbourne just to service my unit! Kudos to Sun City Air Conditioning. Highly recommended for their honesty, professionalism, and old-fashioned customer service ethic. A rare find these days. Huge shout to Gary!!
