Donna and Brian have been the most amazing couple, seeing us through one of the most difficult times in our lives. They treated each and every one of us with compassion, empathy, and – perhaps most importantly – with laughter. They made my dad’s funeral a true celebration of his life, not just a service.
There was no rushed 40-minute slot, no conveyor-belt feel. It wasn’t “one in, one out.” Everything was thoughtful, personal, and beautifully done. They held our hands throughout the entire process, making us feel supported, heard, and cared for from start to finish. Nothing was ever too much trouble – I really did test Brian when he said he never says no! And true to his word, he didn’t – no matter how many requests I had, at all hours.
Working in palliative care, I know how rare it is to find people who offer this level of kindness and care. I only wish we had someone like them where we live, because I would recommend them in a heartbeat to every grieving family I support. I know they would be in the safest, happiest, most loving hands.
Donna and Brian are simply very special people. They’ve been outstanding, and we cannot thank them enough. Every family going through loss deserves to have someone like them by their side.
