Reframing your thoughts toolkit
I bought these cards well over a year ago for my daughter and we'd had a few conversations using them (with a little reluctance as she was only 5). However recently the cards have come into their own, as she has a new baby brother and lots of changes in our household for her to navigate.
One evening when her baby brother was a few weeks old, my daughter took the lead and brought the cards over to me at storytime, selecting the cards that she wanted to talk about. It was so good to see her using the cards as a prompt to talk about how she was feeling and I felt so proud that she'd been able to identify and talk about what she was finding so hard. These cards are such a useful tool and conversation starter for children and their parents/family/teachers. The toolkit is also very high quality and the cards are lovely and thick. You can tell that a lot of love and care goes into the products. I highly recommend the Reframing your thoughts toolkit for all parents of children 6+
