Truly awful experience
This Company has a number of excellent reviews , however we had a terrible experience with them. Initially J . comes to provide a quote, he is personable and a good salesman. We decided to go with them ,despite not being the cheapest . When operations started we knew we were in for problems , they woefully underestimated the volume of stuff we had ( despite hugely reducing it from that viewed). The packing was disorganised , poorly undertaken and Andy their Foreman ( nice guy) nearly had a nervous breakdown on what he had to achieve with available resources.
When our household contents were unpacked from storage and redelivered it was not only disorganised - it was chaos, with multiple valuable items badly damaged. Then the real problems started. C took over from James , they use a Company called Removal Claims Services to handle their claims. ( Check their reviews- really scary). They immediately engaged in trench warfare , invoices not good enough, receipts not good enough, repair quotes not good enough , dubious company who are not regulated by financial conduct authority- despite it being on their letter heading - misleading yes ! C from Movestore offered no help or support, his attitude was so immature and unbusinesslike we had no option but to take Movestore to Court on Point of Principal .
C. showed his usual immaturity and fought it, however he was put in his place by the Sheriff at the hearing ! Our Experience of this Company was truly awful, made worse by a truly awful attitude to genuine complaints.See the Sheriff Court Order it’s not misleading, Mr C should just grow up , I guess he is in his late thirties , but acts like he just graduated from a Nursery .
