DO NOT RECOMMEND—Nice Guys but High Cost and Damaged Items Not really satisfied. Nice enough guys. Packers worked well and quickly but did pack some stuff we had asked them not to. They wrapped EVERYTHING in plastic, some of it unnecessarily, and we were charged for the material. The movers worked a little slowly, and of course the rate is hourly. Several damaged items—we find more every day that we unpack—and the reimbursement policy is so meager that it really isn’t worth filing a claim. Some storage was shattered, wooden furniture was gouged, and the walls in the new home were scratched by their dollies. Total cost was well over the estimate. OVERALL, it was nice for someone to do these tasks because I am not able to, but for $3K+ for an in-town move, it could have been better.
