Very disappointing: poor quality & time management I had booked a pedicure appointment for 11 am on a Saturday. Upon arrival, I was told to wait until someone was next available. There was another client also waiting, and after about 10-15 minutes, she complained to the staff and was assured it wouldn’t be long. Despite being seated right next to her and asking for an update three times, I received no response. Finally, I got up and asked directly, only to be told it would be another 15 minutes. I was seated in the pedicure chair around 11:20, and a staff member informed me they only offered gel pedicures. I had booked for regular polish due to the price difference and personal preference. He insisted that gel was all they offered and at the same price. When another colleague came, they contradicted him, stating that they do offer polish at a different price (a £3 difference). This inconsistency was frustrating. By the time someone actually started working on my nails, it was 11:40. Unfortunately, I ended up with square toenails without being asked for my preference, as is usually done. Admittedly, I was distracted on my phone, but I was so over the wait that I just wanted it to be done. I chose a glittery nail polish, and I noticed the nail tech added acetone to the polish to make it more fluid, indicating it was old. After finishing, another staff member asked if it was okay. When I mentioned it wasn’t shiny, she blamed the glitter. However, glitter is naturally shiny, suggesting the polish was indeed old. While the staff were friendly, the place was clean and the scrub was nice, I was very disappointed with the time management and the quality of the pedicure. My toenails look awful and wonky. Definitely not in a rush to go back and won’t be recommending
