I purchased wallpaper from Uwalls, expecting a high-quality product, but what I received was misprinted, defective, and completely unusable. The design was misaligned and duplicated, making proper installation impossible. 🚩 First Red Flag – They Changed Their Story 🚩 When I reached out about the issue, they suddenly claimed the wallpaper was meant to be overlapped. Layering wallpaper is completely unrealistic—it would make the walls look bumpy and nothing like the smooth designs shown in their advertising photos. 🚩 Second Red Flag – Another Excuse 🚩 When I pointed out that overlapping would ruin the wall, they changed their excuse again and said I was supposed to cut the excess by hand—on a 4-meter-high wall. That is completely absurd and impossible without professional machinery. 🚩 Rude, Slow Responses & No Accountability 🚩 Before purchase, they replied to emails quickly. After the sale? Silence, rudeness, and dismissiveness. No greeting, no basic courtesy, just short, blunt responses refusing to take responsibility. They even blamed the professional wallpaper team I paid to install it, who said they hadn’t seen something so bad in 20 years. 🚩 Refused to Honor Their Return Policy 🚩 When I asked for a return, they ignored me. Then, when I escalated to PayPal, they told me not to return it because it was “custom-made”—a convenient excuse to never allow refunds. If all their wallpapers are “custom,” that means no one can ever return anything, making their return policy a complete scam. 🚩 Had to Buy a New Mural from a Proper Company 🚩 I had to purchase a replacement from Photowall, who confirmed that their wallpaper follows industry standards—no overlapping, no misprinting, no ridiculous installation methods. If you’re considering buying from Uwalls—don’t. This company is running a scam, changing policies after purchase, refusing refunds, and blaming customers for their defective product. If you check their reviews on Facebook there are dozens like me. I wish I’d checked there first when doing my due diligence instead of just Trustpilot. Go with a reputable wallpaper company like Photowall. 🚨 Avoid at all costs. 🚨 Update: Uwalls engages in manipulation tactics to hide bad reviews After my initial negative experience with Uwalls due to their faulty product, refusal to honor their return policy, and dismissive customer service, they ignored my requests for a refund—until I left a public review. Only after my review was posted did they suddenly approve the PayPal dispute and issue my refund. This was not a goodwill gesture—it was a reaction to public pressure. Then, they started emailing me, not to fix the issue, but to control the narrative. First, they offered a random wallpaper that had nothing to do with my order. When I refused, they asked what else they could do. I told them they could reimburse the cost of the professional installation team that couldn’t install their defective product. And that’s when the manipulation truly started. They explicitly told me they would only cover my costs if I changed or deleted my review. That is not “customer service”—that is bribery. After I called them out, they started gaslighting me—suddenly pretending that they never tried to buy me off and that they were just trying to find a solution. How stupid do they think customers are? I have the email proof. Why do I have to put up with this? Why does anyone have to put up with a company that only “cares” when their reputation is on the line? I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. If you’re reading this, trust the negative reviews. If they’re responding to reviews pretending to be helpful, it’s only because they don’t want their shady business exposed.
