I was descriminated by the homeownerand never got paid I have worked several craigslist jobs. I was hired by community labor partnership. It was a 2 hour job for 55. The U-Haul we were unloading was stuffed in there. Nothing was wrapped and you couldn't even get a start because of how it was packed. The homeowner said he knew I was in something. I asked if he wanted my help or not and he said yes. He had a dressor that me and his 25 yr old son were to move. His son couldn't lift the fldressor and dropped it. When he grabbed the bed mattress and pulled a lamp that was thrown on top not protected fell and broke. The homeowner blamed me. I apologized even though I had nothing to do with the lamp. It was a 2 hour job and an hour and 48 minutes into it he told me to get off his property and said he wasn't going to pay me. There was another worker that was also hired that said she would tell the truth and let community partnership know that I was infact sober and worked my ass off and wasn't the cause. I have a mowhawk and he discriminated against me and the supervisor from community labor refunded the money to the homeowner and after an hour and 48 minutes unloading that u haul u should have got paid. I have yet to have a manager call me and someone should have talked to me before refunding the money. I should still get paid for the work I did. I am sick to my stomach and hope the better bureau service will get me what was agreed on. If he didn't like me he should have told me to leave not wait until I unloaded all the heavy shit and wait until there was two end tables left and the job was done.
