My son has been at Milestones Ashby for approximately 18 months. Due to Covid damaging Patrick’s ears when he was 18 months old; he lost most of his hearing and until he got grommets and could hear again, he was very withdrawn and did not like socialising with other children... or anyone who weren’t his grandparents or people he lives with. The girls at Milestones have been amazing in turning that about! Although his speech is still restricted to 5/10 words; we have recently discovered he knows his numbers, colours and the alphabet! It’s absolutely amazing as we find it hard at home to teach him anything due to his lack of concentration.
Jessica, the manager does a great job and always has time for a chat and has done so much to help with Patrick’s additional needs. All of the staff are lovely and friendly; but Courtney in particular is a delight to talk to and has helped get the right people to deal with Patrick’s delayed speech. I highly recommend this childcare centre!
