Istvan Juhasz - mentor experience
I first met István Juhász in 2018, when I was working at Verizon as a student.
I still remember presenting the results of one of my projects to him and his team. They gave me very positive feedback, which eventually led to me joining István's team, where I spent nearly six years.
Over those years, as one of István's mentees, I learned an incredible amount about myself, about work, and about how to confidently grow and move forward in my career—or even how to find my own voice. István had a unique way of asking thought-provoking, sometimes even provocative questions that helped me uncover ideas and insights I would probably never have reached on my own.
My favorite quote from him is something I still carry with me today and try to apply in every aspect of my life: "You can't change your environment; you can only change yourself."
I am truly grateful for six years of mentorship and for the meaningful conversations we continue to have to this day. Thank you, István!
