Non-standard, irreversible waist alteration
A Nordstrom tailor reviewed two blazers I had altered here and said the waist suppression was done in a non-standard, irreversible way, with seam allowance cut away and visible puckering. I was not informed that the work would be irreversible, even though standard waist suppression is typically reversible. When I raised these workmanship concerns to Ella, they were not addressed, and the response relied only on non-refund policy language.

This customer had multiple fittings, approved the work at pickup, and raised no concerns at the time of service. Weeks later, after third party commentary, a refund was requested for completed and accepted custom alterations. As outlined in our policy, approved custom work is non refundable. We stand by our craftsmanship and documentation.
