Cruise on NCL Viva I wanted to reach out and let you know that my cruise was absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much for changing my mind and suggesting I try a different cruise line; after this experience, I will never go back to Royal Caribbean! Here is a day-by-day breakdown of my trip and some thoughts on the ship: Embarkation & Day 1 Embarkation was easy and seamless. We were able to get to our cabins about an hour after boarding. My stateroom was clean, very large, and I really loved the space. That night, I had dinner at Nama, the sushi restaurant on board. The food was fantastic and the service was phenomenal. First Sea Day I spent the day at the Vibe Beach Club on Deck 17. The bartender, Frauline, and the rest of the wait staff were fantastic. I also tried the buffet on the 17th deck for breakfast and lunch. The pizza, turkey, and mac & cheese were all very good selections. Cozumel, Mexico Our first port day was in Cozumel. I walked around town and even ran into some friends at the Margaritaville just north of the port. It was a very good day. Once back on board, I had dinner at Cagney’s. The filet was absolutely fabulous. That evening, I saw the 70s show at Sid Norman’s, which was a great performance. Harvest Caye, Belize This was my favorite port day. The island was superb and all the amenities were fantastic. I had dinner in the main dining room that evening and the fish was absolutely to die for. Roatan, Honduras On our third port day, I went scuba diving, which was an absolute blast. The excursion scheduled through Norwegian Cruise Line was excellent. That night, I went to the 80s show in the Viva Theatre, which was also excellent. Costa Maya, Mexico For the last port day, I decided to stay on the ship. I had dinner at Hasuki, the hibachi restaurant, which might have been the best meal I had on the entire trip. Final Sea Day I spent my last sea day back at the Vibe Beach Club. The wait staff and the bartender I mentioned earlier truly had to be the best staff on the ship. Later that night, I went to the end-of-sailing party and had a great time! All in all, it was a great experience and I would definitely cruise with NCL again. Thanks again for the great recommendation!
