Where great stories inspire great leaders
Although I have never been mentored by Istvan personally, nor have I been one of his coaching clients, I had the privilege of working alongside him and observing the impact he had on colleagues within the organisation.
I witnessed him voluntarily invest his time and energy in mentoring others, often newly appointed or less experienced leaders, not because it formed part of his role, but because he was genuinely committed to helping people. He helped them overcome the perceptions and beliefs that were holding them back from realising their true potential and from becoming the leaders they were capable of being. He listened with genuine curiosity, asked insightful questions, and created the space for them to arrive at their own conclusions. As a result, I saw colleagues develop greater self-awareness and clarity, often making meaningful changes in their professional and, at times, personal lives.
Istvan brought authenticity and professionalism to everything he did. The positive impact of his mentoring was evident in the people around him, and it earned him the respect of those fortunate enough to work with him.
