venal company
I have been staying in Shrewsbury with AirBNB in the same building at least 5 times because my daughter lives there
So whenever we visit her from abroad, we book one ESL appartment .
This time we booked the same appartment as we did in November 24; at that time, we didn,t write a comment, eventhough the sheets were dirty and the curtains of one of the room ,was on the floor. No commercial gesture of course but they fixed the problems.
My uncle passed away yesterday and I asked ESL to postpone the stay.
They refused all of my propositions because the cancellation period was over.
I told them that I was going to send them the death certificate and they just didn't care.
Those people are heartless and venal. It's really a shame!
They don't understand that a small gesture in this special circumstance, builds up customer loyalty.
I asked AirBnB for help; they,at least, gave me a tiny commercial compensation because they dont want to loose a customer and receive a 1 star comment!
Stay away from this company!
