Replacement conservatory roof We recently had our glazed conservatory roof replaced and the recent hot weather had proved how well insulated it is. Shaun visited on a couple of occasions, firstly to explain the product and secondly to measure up when we decided we would like to go ahead. He was very friendly and the quote was very well itemized. We felt confident that we were in safe hands. We had had a problem with an inadequate gutter and Shaun managed to incorporate something much more suitable into the new design. The delivery took place on the scheduled date but the first day of work was delayed as there was a problem on the M25 and the guys could not make it to our house. The following day they were able to do some work but had to leave after about 3 hours with reassurances that they would be able to 'crack on' the following day. Indeed they were true to their word and the following day, the roof was removed, the new framework installed and we were left water tight and secure for the weekend. During the following days, an electrician arrived to wire and fit down lighting and the very skilled plasterers came to finish off the ceiling. There was an issue with the wrong ridge tiles being sent by the suppliers and these were fitted and finished in a timely manner. The guys were friendly and hard working and despite a couple of hitches with traffic and wrong items sent, we would have no hesitation in recommending Shaun and his team. The finished product is of high quality and all necessary paperwork including building regulations were sorted out by a very efficient Emma in the office. We are looking forward to winter so we can see how well our conservatory is insulated but already we are noticing a marked difference and our conservatory feels more like an extra room rather than a goldfish bowl attached to the house. Well worth the money!
