E-sim - very easy to use and very competitive rates
I was planning a trip to Los Angeles last July and knew that I'd need access to my mobile phone. My UK mobile provider had a complicated international calls tariff system and it was quite expensive. I had recently used an e-sim for work in Italy and thought it would be worth checking out the options for a US version.
The best offer (and highest rated) was USA PAYG so I opted for that. The set-up was really simple (even for a technophobe like me!) and the cost was much more economic than my own mobile phone provider could match.
Having a local phone number and unlimited data proved to be essential and I would highly recommend USA PAYG is you are thinking about an eSim in America

Many other USA eSIMs do NOT have a phone number. Our eSIM does have a phone number which means you can make and receive calls, which can be important in the USA (e.g. as a walk in to a busy restaurant and going on a waitlist, calling your airline if there's a flight cancellation, or calling for roadside assistance if your rental car breaks down.
