My experience in Gateway Training Academy
I recently completed my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, and I’m proud to say that my journey with Gateway Training Academy in Fremantle has been truly life-changing. When I first joined, I was not only new to the cohort but also newly arrived in Australia. From day one, Gateway Training Academy made me feel welcomed, supported, and included.
I especially want to thank my trainer, Visha Sunyasi. I cannot express my gratitude enough. Her experience and knowledge in Early Childhood Education are exceptional, and she consistently teaches best practice with passion and clarity. She treats every student not just as a learner, but as a human being—with respect, patience, and genuine care.
Being new to this country, I have never encountered such a caring and dedicated mentor. Visha supported me both in the classroom and during my work placement. Whenever she visited us at the Centre, I felt an immediate sense of peace seeing her familiar face. Even the children warmed up to her right away because of her positive energy and kind nature.
