A fine tour spoilt by poor bikes.
Cycled the Atlantic Coast of Portugal with Rooster Bike Tours. A beautiful country, lovely people and fine accommodation. Unfortunately the bikes provided were nowhere near the standard promised, spoiling the experience considerably. I will stick to trusted companies in future.

For our Portugal Atlantic Coast Gentle tours, the standard Touring-class bikes are typically either the Trek FX2 or the Kross Trans 5.0—both well-regarded hybrid models with a retail value around €700 and chosen specifically for the terrain and pace of this itinerary.
We take equipment standards seriously and maintain a 24/7 support line to resolve any issues during the tour. Had we been made aware of your concerns at the time—either at pick-up or after the first ride—we would have acted promptly to provide a replacement better aligned with your expectations.
