Shameful!! I gave 1 star ONLY because it wouldn’t let me rate lower! There are more details to this story but I’m going to make it short and to the point! Here’s the thing…owning a vehicle comes with unexpected expenses, I get it! While on vacation here in PEI from NL, I required a VW dealership to inspect a clunking noise in my Tiguan. Upon inspection, I was told that the estimate for repairs would be $2383.17 to repair a strut(the cause of the noise) and while further inspection, they said it required more repairs. Sean MacIsaac from Summerside Hyundai offered to have his technician have a look at it. Well, the technician also found the cause of the noise…2 loose bolts!!! Explain to me how this happened? How does a dealership get away with charging a customer this insane amount to repair something that isn’t broken?? Please PLEASE get a second opinion on repairs!! It saved me nearly $2400. I will never recommend Brown’s VW to anyone!
