Beware
Beware of this firm. A friendly relationship turned ugly, as others involved with the renovation unfortunately also reported. All was looking good until we had the infra-red heating system running and saw a crack in the ceiling and burn marks. We learned that Stewart had fitted the heating panels incorrectly, ignoring the instructions, according to the supplier. He swore that the heating was working properly on several previous occasions, which subsequently proved to be impossible because some transformers were found to be faulty (and fitted upside down!) and were replaced by the supplier. We now have a fire hazard in a ground floor flat, now isolated by an electrician. We are now in need of a contractor to establish which panels have been fitted correctly, if any, potentially replace them all with new ones, and probably to replace and plaster the ceiling again. No apology, and no guarantee or recompense available from what is effectively a one man band
