Worst Legal Service Ever: They Don’t Fight the Case at All My experience with Ticket Crusher — particularly with attorney Marlene Hubbell — has been the worst legal-service experience I’ve ever paid for. Their heavily advertised “90% win rate” is blatantly misleading. They count the automatic option of traffic school as a “win.” Marlene even told me that granting traffic school meant she had “won” my case — which is absurd, because the court letter itself gives you that option with a single click. But the real issue? They never actually fight your case. They simply tell the court that you’re choosing “no contest” and requesting traffic school. No argument, no defense, no legal effort. It’s the exact outcome you can obtain yourself online in seconds — without paying hundreds of dollars. And the attorney herself, Marlene Hubbell, was not only arrogant, but clearly incapable. She repeatedly reminded me that she went to law school, yet she couldn’t explain any strategy (because there was none), couldn’t articulate what she would present in court, and treated basic questions as if they were beneath her. Her attitude would almost be comical if the stakes weren’t real. Customer service was equally terrible. They scheduled a call, then rescheduled it again and again — it took five attempts before I finally got an actual call. After they took my payment and filed the case, they basically abandoned me. No updates, no proactive communication, and nothing resembling professional representation. To make matters worse, other real attorneys I’ve worked with — even those not based in Alameda County — have actually gotten my tickets waived in the past. Ticket Crusher didn’t come close to that level of competence. They did the bare minimum and charged premium prices for it. Ticket Crusher is misleading, unprofessional, and staffed with an attorney who is both arrogant and incapable of delivering real results. If you actually want someone to review your case and fight for you, go hire a real attorney — not a service that just clicks “traffic school” on your behalf and calls it a victory.
