0 Stars – Completely unacceptable experience, unprofessional and not business-friendly
We are a legitimate company and had properly registered our PayPal business account. After being asked to submit our VAT number – which we did promptly – the account was suddenly and permanently limited without any warning, no questions asked, no phone call, no prior notice.
Since then, it has been impossible to contact PayPal support. All emails bounce back from “noreply” addresses, and the internal messaging system is locked due to the account limitation. We have been completely abandoned.
Our available funds are now frozen for 180 days, allegedly to cover potential risks – despite the fact that we haven’t even used the account recently, and there was no suspicious activity. To make it worse, we can’t even remove our bank account or email address because of the restriction.
Conclusion: This is not how a serious financial service should operate. There is zero transparency, no support, no appeal process, and absolutely no regard for business continuity.
PayPal is unreliable, unprofessional, and completely unsuitable for business use.
