Not what we had hoped for We were aggressively sought by several companies and Ethos' relationship with Rocket gave them the edge, since we had transacted a house purchase with Rocket before. But this particular broker (Cody) had a very low interest rate but high closing fees and advertised "closing in 5 days." After over 3 weeks of rookie mistakes (like "you can't borrow on a condo" (even when we own it outright) we finally stopped hearing from the broker, who eventually blamed lour HOA. We then went to our local credit union and negotiated a NO FEE loan which closed in 10 days and paid in less than 30.
