Inquisitive seer
I first met István at university in the last century, where we both studied electrical engineering. After a few years apart, fate brought us together again – this time in a professional career, at the same workplace. István performed strategic tasks there, and even then his approach to work was noticeable: his organization, precision, and the way he created a personalized motivation system and transparent working conditions for his colleagues. These qualities made a deep impression on me.
Over the years, our relationship developed into a friendship, which did not break even when our professional paths diverged. As a company founder, I asked for his mentoring help several times, especially on the topic of human resource management and motivation techniques. His experience, advice and questions always showed direction and provided tangible help in the sometimes tortuous world of company management.
Our friendship has lasted for more than three decades. We meet from time to time, and these meetings and conversations – even during a friendly chat – always bring new perspectives and valuable thoughts. István instinctively supports, guides, and shapes without doing so intentionally – this is simply his personality: support and help are part of his life.
